Born from Seva,
rooted in Tradition
Kripa began in our grandmother's mandir — and in the workshops of the artisans she trusted. Today, we are the bridge between those hands and your home.
The Soul of Kripa
My grandmother — we called her Kripa-amma — kept a small brass puja thali on her windowsill. Every morning, she would polish it with a rag soaked in imli paani. She taught me that a diya lit with intention was worth more than a temple full of electric bulbs. Kripa, the store, is named for her.
When she passed, I went looking for a replacement for her brass bell. What I found in markets was thinner, lighter, made in a way that assumed you'd replace it in two years. The artisans who made her things were still around — in Moradabad, in Makrana, in Kannauj — but fewer each year, squeezed by cheaper imports and thinner margins.
We started Kripa to be the bridge. We pay our artisans properly, up front. We carry pieces that take time to make. We ship slowly when we must. And we promise that when you buy from us, you're buying the same quality Kripa-amma would have known.
A diya lit with intention is worth more than a temple full of electric bulbs.
We aren't trying to be the biggest devotional store in India. We're trying to be the one your family trusts for three generations — the way your grandmother trusted the brass-wallah in the market.
A family-run legacy of purity
Three principles shape every order that leaves our warehouse — whether it is a ₹29 pack of cotton wicks or a ₹1.5 lakh Makrana Krishna murti.
Artisan-First
We source directly from 40+ artisan families across Moradabad, Makrana, Kannauj, Jaipur, and Vrindavan. No middlemen. Fair prices, paid before production starts — not after.
Pure Materials
Real brass, not alloys. Makrana marble, not resin. Natural attars from copper deg distillation. When a material matters, we use it properly — and tell you if we ever can't.
Timeless Quality
Each piece is made to outlast trends. A Kripa diya should still be glowing in your mandir when it's your granddaughter lighting it — not in a landfill in five years.
"We do not sell puja items. We pass on what was passed to us."

Traditional Indian perfumery & heirloom gifting
Attars, the old way
We work with three copper-deg distilleries in Kannauj — the 'Attar Capital' — where rose, mogra, kewda, and oudh are still distilled by a method 400 years old. No synthetic bases, no alcohol, no compromise.
Gifting that tells a story
Every Kripa hamper is hand-wrapped in Banarasi silk, tied with cotton thread dyed in natural madder, and sealed with a wax marigold. The wrapping is part of the gift — not destined for a bin.
Commerce, done with dharma, is still worship. These are the trade-offs we never let slip — the things we value, and the things we happily leave to others.
"Bhakti is the road. Sales is just a stop along it."
The promise of quality
If a Kripa product ever fails you — within our return window or years later — write to us. We will make it right. That promise is older than this website.
Authenticity Guarantee
Every idol, every attar, every rudraksha — sourced directly from the artisan or the certified origin. If we ever can't verify it, we don't sell it.
Hand-Packed, Tracked
Every order is hand-packed by our team in Jaipur, photographed before sealing, and tracked door-to-door. No mystery in between.
Artisan Certified
Every piece ships with a small card naming the artisan family, the town of origin, and — for idols and attars — the day it was completed.
