Return & Refund Policy

We want every Kripa order to feel like an heirloom — but if something isn't right, we will make it right. This policy explains when and how you can return an item, and how refunds are processed. By placing an order on kripa.store, you agree to the terms below.

1. Return Window

You may raise a return request within 7 days of delivery. The 7-day clock starts on the date the courier marks the order as "Delivered". Requests received after this window cannot be accepted, except in the case of a manufacturing defect covered by a separate warranty.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must satisfy all of the following:

  • Unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • In its original packaging, with all tags, inserts, and certificates intact.
  • Free of stains, scratches, dents, perfume residue, or any signs of use.
  • Accompanied by the original tax invoice.

For idols and large brass/marble pieces, please record an unboxing video — this helps us process damage claims quickly.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following categories are not eligible for return, except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect or shipping damage:

  • Attars, perfumes, and any liquid fragrances — sealed for hygiene reasons.
  • Agarbatti, dhoop, camphor, ghee, wicks, and other consumables once opened.
  • Custom or made-to-order items (temple commissions, engraved nameplates, monogrammed gift hampers).
  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Festival Special" on the product page.
  • Free gifts, samples, and items received as part of a promotional bundle.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong product, we will replace or refund it in full — no questions asked. To help us act quickly:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp at +91 98765 43210 or email contact@kripa.store.
  2. Share clear photos of the damaged item and its packaging.
  3. If you recorded an unboxing video, send that too.

We arrange a free reverse pickup. There is no shipping charge, restocking fee, or paperwork on your side.

5. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email contact@kripa.store or WhatsApp +91 98765 43210 within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Share your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason.
  3. Our team responds within 1 working day with next steps.
  4. We arrange a reverse pickup through our courier partner. Pickup typically happens within 3–5 working days.
  5. Once the item reaches our warehouse and passes quality inspection, we initiate the refund.

6. Refund Process & Timeline

Refunds are processed to the original payment method:

  • UPI / Cards / Net Banking — credited within 5–7 working days of return acceptance.
  • Wallets (PhonePe, Paytm, GPay) — credited within 3–5 working days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — refunded to a bank account you provide. Allow 7–10 working days.

The shipping charge paid at checkout (if any) is non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective item.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, variant, or product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order. This keeps the process simple and ensures the new item ships from our latest, freshest inventory.

8. Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order any time before it is dispatched, free of charge. Once an order has been packed and handed to the courier, it cannot be cancelled — but you can refuse delivery, and we will refund the order value (less return shipping) once it reaches us.

Custom and made-to-order items can only be cancelled within 24 hours of order placement. After that, a cancellation fee of up to 25% may apply, since artisan work has begun.
