True deer musk has not been used in Indian perfumery for over a century — and rightly so. Our Kasturi Attar is built from a closely-guarded herbal-musk accord developed in Kannauj over four generations: ambrette seed, costus root, Himalayan spikenard, and aged sandalwood combine into a fragrance indistinguishable from temple kasturi of the old texts.
