Rudraksha Japa Mala

In Stock

108 hand-knotted beads with meru and tassel — for mantra japa, breath count, and silent recitation.

The 108-bead japa mala is the oldest counting tool in human history. Ours is hand-knotted by mala makers in Haridwar — one knot between every bead, ensuring the thread never collapses if a single bead is lost.

Each mala includes:

  • 108 main beads (count beads for mantra recitation)
  • 1 sumeru (the "guru bead" with tassel) — never crossed during japa, the mala is reversed instead
  • Hand-knotted on natural cotton thread between every bead
  • Lab-tested authenticity certificate (Rudraksha and Sphatik variants)

How to choose your bead:

  • Rudraksha 5mm — traditional small bead, ideal for daily use, fits inside fist
  • Rudraksha 8mm — larger bead, more presence, classical pandit's mala
  • Tulsi — sacred basil wood, the Krishna devotee's mala, light and airy
  • Sandalwood — Mysore chandan, fragrant, the meditator's mala
  • Sphatik — natural quartz crystal, for cooling pitta and mind, the worshipper's mala
