AARTI पंचमुखी आरती दीप
Panchmukhi Aarti
Five-wick brass aarti lamp with peacock finial — the classical aarti vessel of every Indian temple.
The panchmukhi aarti — five flames burning in a single hand-held lamp — is the defining sacred image of Indian aarti. Five flames represent the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether), and the rotating motion during aarti is the consecration of the deity through all five.
Our Panchmukhi is hand-cast in solid brass with five lotus-shaped wick holders arranged around a central column, crowned with a small peacock or kalash finial. Designed for rotation by the right hand during aarti — the weighted base and balanced column ensure smooth circular motion.
How to use: Fill all five lotus wicks with ghee or oil. Light all five (right-most first, anticlockwise). Hold by the base, rotate clockwise in front of the deity 7 times, accompanied by aarti recitation and bell.
The Kripa promise: Solid brass, hand-cast in Moradabad. Five short cotton wicks included.
